And the award goes to...


As part of their commitment to providing an excellent educational experience, the Magnus School in Nottinghamshire and Drug Education, Counselling and Confidential Advice (DECCA)  in Birmingham, held special award ceremonies to recognise the fantastic achievements of their learners.

 

NCFE Business Development Officers Julia Vielma-Clegg and Emma King were honoured to be asked to present awards at the 2 very special ceremonies.

 

For the 2nd year running Emma King was asked to present an award at the Drug Education, Counselling and Confidential Advice (DECCA) Investing in Quality awards.

 

DECCA use the NCFE Investing in Quality Licence to accredit their Drug Awareness courses which are extremely popular in the Sandwell area of Birmingham.

 

Margaret Storrie, course writer and developer commented that 'the Investing in Quality licence gives us a stamp of quality from an Awarding Body of which we are extremely proud.  NCFE has supported DECCA for many years now and long may the relationship continue.'

 

Julia Vielma-Clegg presented an award at the Magnus School in Nottinghamshire.The lucky winner was Ross Verills who was recognised for his outstanding work in Performance Skills. The lucky winner received an iPod Nano provided by NCFE.
