Vocational Qualifications

We've a wide range of vocational qualifications for 14-19 year old learners in schools.

Our qualifications cover several sectors, many of which carry SCAAT points.* Vocational qualifications are an ideal vocational alternative or a great addition to the existing GCSE curriculum.

Some of our key sectors already popular within schools are listed below;

Creative Kids
Our range of Arts, Media and Publishing qualifications are designed to enable pupils to enhance their knowledge and skills in creativity. This booklet covers some of our most relevant and topical subjects such as 'Dance' 'Podcasting' and 'Interactive Media'.

Skills for Life
We offer several qualifications within the Preparation for Life and Work sector that encourage learners to develop the knowledge and skills which will prepare them for work in later life.

Healthy Schools
Our range of Health, Public Services and Care qualifications are designed to raise awareness of important key issues in society. For example our Level 2 Award in Nutrition and Health is designed for pupils who are interested in improving their understanding of nutrition and dietary choices

Our qualifications offer a way for learners to:

• develop work ready practical skills that employers are looking for
• renew self confidence as their achievements grow
• enhance their CV with GCSE equivalent qualifications
• switch back to mainstream education.

Many of our vocational qualifications also give learners the opportunity to boost their Level 2 achievements and offer achieving learners a way to expand their qualification range.

The schools we work with are already finding that NCFE vocational qualifications are an effective means to engage with pupils and help them achieve results.
