Online Assessment
Online Assessment is an online software system that allows NCFE centres to deliver multiple choice question papers securely online within assessment centres and has the following functionality :
- Candidates are allowed unlimited free re-sits
- It is an internet based Assessment Administration system which enables assessments to be scheduled and entry of candidates to be completed autonomously within the centre by an administrator
- It has a secure Candidate Interface to enable students to complete an assessment. The interface suppresses all other functionality on a workstation until the assessment is completed
- It has a secure environment to allow centres to independently manage assessments and candidates
- It gives Centres responsibility for user management and login access to the administration system
- It allows Centres to arrange assessments without contacting NCFE
- Candidates that did not attend the assessment are not charged for
- It allows pirate candidates not initially registered with NCFE to be entered locally to complete an assessment on demand
- Candidates requiring reasonable adjustments to sit the assessment are catered for by enabling length of assessment time to be adjusted
- Once an online assessment is completed by candidates NCFE will be updated with details of assessment and assessment results. A results confirmation report will then be sent out to centres.
