Qualifications Update
The NCFE Level 2 and Level 3 Certificate for Teaching Assistants both have accreditation end dates of August 2008. We’ve been advised by the Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) that the title of these qualifications should change in line with the new National Occupational Standards. With this in mind, we’re taking the opportunity to replace the existing qualifications with new qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools at Levels 2 and 3. But don’t panic! These new qualifications will be based very closely on our Teaching Assistants qualifications in both size and content, and will be available from September. More details will follow as developments progress.
